Living with
the river.

Set on a 1,600 sq.m. site beside the Bang Pakong River, this residence takes its design cues from its surroundings. The design responds to the local climate, sunlight, prevailing winds, and rainwater drainage to create comfortable living spaces connected to nature.

RoofThe hip roof was selected for its structural strength, effective rainwater drainage, and suitability for the winds of a riverside setting.
OrientationThe building runs parallel to the river, with its orientation responding to the sun’s path to limit heat gain while welcoming natural breezes.
IntegrationRainwater pipes are concealed within the columns, keeping building services tidy and preserving clear architectural lines.
UnityA single large roof brings the architectural elements together, expressing simplicity, balance, and unity.
